    My RS2 doesn't start!!!

    Hi all!

The last week I did a new 3" exhaust for my RS2 coupe, and when I exit from the garage it doesn't run good, and in a few seconds it stoped...

First the car was fine, but when I went to 0.4 bar and was not fine enough and failed to turn down.

I took him at home and it didn't start.

I revise the timing belt but I think that it's OK.

    I think that it's OK.

I changed the fuel filter too and removed the hose from the fuel injection ramp and the fuel exit good.

If I use vag-com, it didn't say anything. No fault codes, only the normal engine speed sensor.

Anyone have any ideas or can suggest where could be the fail?

MAF, G60, N75, injectors, FPR are new!

    Cheers and thanks for all!

PD: Sorry for my horrible english!

Can you give us some more details? Is the lambda probe properly connected?

Sounds like it could be something simple if it happened right after you changed the exhaust.

How was the exhaust added ? Did you have any welding equipment near the middle section of the car ? Have you checked the hoses for heat damage ? If the fabricators were using equipment earthed to the chassis (!?) ....(BTDT ! ) Was the exhaust mandrel bent or have you a lovely "flat" spot over the rear axle ?

            Tell us more...

If they did not disconnect battery or use a special tool that clips to the battery they could have damaged The ecu if wielding on the car

Always worth checking the flywheel timing pin, if this has been damaged or is missing the car will not start. BTDT and it's a pig to change

The battery and ECU were disconnected before welding.

I will check today if there are spark in the plugs, if no there are spark I check the timing sensors!

                    Thanks

It could be the Hall sensor behind the cam sprocket. if it fails though, it does one of two things, if it works to start the car, it will run fine until above ~4000rpm on WOT. Otherwise it will just not let the car start.

If the car was running badly before it stopped working then it doesn't sound like the hall sensor...

Bad contact on the ECU harness?

My best guess is also hall sensor. BTDT

I revised the timing and it's ok.
Revised all boost hoses and connections, all OK.

How can I check the hall sensor?

                            Now, I have a new vag-com fault code. 00513 G28 - Implausible signal - Intermitent

How can I check the G28?

                            Thanks!
