    Emissions tips

Just a quick question anyone got any tips on getting a car thru the emissions test, its been once and failed so new lamda sensor been put on and cat checked plus some stuff added to the fuel what the mot station recommended. New maf as well just wondering if there is anything else that could be done. This isn't my s4, its the A4 as I want a new mot before it goes up for sale and its being done by a friend so I currently don't have access to it.

Vagcom has been checked and the codes sorted out, just want to get it thru the mot so I can get rid as I need to make space before I move

Get it as hot as possible, find an open road and do a few WOT runs though the gears. My local test center is right next to the airport which is convenient, lots of long straights to get it really hot.

                  What were your emissions readings?
                  CO, HC & Lambda

When was it serviced last, I know it had plugs recently, but oil & filter?

I have quite a lot of cars in that fail miserably and are cured by a good service!!!
The Cat HAS to be 'KIN HOT!!!!
Most Bimmers won't pass the emissions till the fan has cut in at least twice!!
