    S6 Fuel pump relay?

Hi guys can you point me in the direction of the fuel pump relay on an AAN S6 please. Also should you be able to hear it prime up when the ignition is switched on?

    Many thanks

I can say with certainty that the AAN fuel pump does not 'prime' with ignition ON - the pump is activated by ECU when rpm is above 'cranking speed'...

I'm sure www.sjmautotechnik.com has some S6 specific info on this one - I dont have AAN schematics here right now.

Ok great thanks paul. Car is running great on your chips by the way, still running in tho so not kiven it a boot full yet. Could your chips cause a vag com code to come up?

Just having a few niggly starting issues, not starting as well as it should.

      Thanks

      Jim

Bad starting behaviour is most likely G40 in first instance - camshaft sensor - very common failure. Other niggles can be immo related relays and such or even the ignition switch sometimes.

My chips certainly wont raise faults but they retain all the factory diagnostics so any faults the ECU detects will be accessible via VAGCOM>

Thats great, didnt think they would. It did come up with a code, something to do with mixture adaption, was an intermittent fault. It dosnt like starting when its warm, after about an hour being stood and also my dad thinks when the fuel level is a bit low in the tank.
