Any potential problem? Banjo fitting on oil filter housing?

There is a slight chance i'm considering using a banjo fitting on the oil filter housing. As far as size it's the same size(18x 1.5) as the power steering setup but not from a
S2 specific power steering pump setup. However it's in the OEM family. I've seen banjo fittings on oil cooler housing. As long as it's around the right size it should be ok? I'm just wondering if there is any potential for a pressure drop?
