Hello Jamo, so KKK BorgWarner don't supply the parts for refurb the K24/7200? Is correct? Because here in Italy there is this problem and I have speak with the biggest turbo specialist of Italy. Some impression about Ultimot Gmbh?

I have made some pictures at the metal pipe before the throttle body. The oil that is visible, is normal for you? Especially the liquid oil on the board of the pipe? Saturday I will test the compression.

Yes, that is normal. Your breather system can blow oil vapors in to the inlet system so its quite normal to find a puddle of oil sitting in the pipe recesses.

I bet your IC has a few mm of oil sitting in the bottom of it..

Maybe try cleaning your breather system first, there is a few threads about that on here. Can be quite tricky especially if some of the pipes have perished.

Hello, when I have buy mine RS2 in February 2006 I had completely wash the intercooler, the metal pipe in the picture, throttle body, ecc. Now the first problem is know if the excessive oil consumption and blue smoke is caused from the turbo or from the pistons rings or from the valve seals. With the compression test I will test the condition of the pistons rings and also of the valve seals?
          Thanks a lot!

Hello, today I have turn on the car after 2 months that is stopped in my garage and when I have turn on the engine, for a second run not well, like if work only 4 cylinders for example and I have seen immediately at start up a big balloon of blue smoke from the exhaust system, if the problem is the turbo I don't understand why a big balloon of blue smoke immediately on start up, this sound me like the problem are the seal valve stem, because I have blue smoke especially when the engine run at the idle or when after that the engine is at high rpm goes at the idle, that mean for me that the oil pass through seal valve stem especially when throttle valve is closed and there is depression in the combustion chamber. Water level is perfect, so the smoke is really oil and not water and also the odor is of oil.

            Thanks a lot!
