Dr.Schrick Camshafts for AAN.

Mates,Recently,I got the Dr.Schrick Camshafts for AAN motor from my brother.
As he got rid of it because He's running on the stage I+ chip tuning from 034's.
He ain't gonna has this camshafts on his AAN.He said the MPG is poorer with
no significant gains on HP(previously his car has a lot boost leaks not 100%
on his car).I have STFA from many forums but it seemed not much peoples
get used to with this camshafts on I5 motor.one thing this camshafts is very
expensive personally.As my current setup so far go beyond some stage 2 or 3.
I'm thinking to put this camshafts on my car.another ways is getting 7A cams seemed
a bit more compromising.what's you guys thinking about it?Can the camshafts be effected on the timing or boost profile?

Well, let's start with saying, maps for stock cams won't be good for another set of cams.

Cams make or break engine breathing, if map doesn't get modified when changing cams you won't get anything out of them, in fact you might ruin your engine if breathing is altered drastically (yes, it can knock heavily in places before ECU gets a hang of it)

Thanks for the inputs Gedu.I have seen some advertises from 034 said running the GT2871 or GT28 Disco potato Kits+7A cams.it will gain some HP at the high end RPM.Definitely,the software is dedicated to stock AAN cams.
I dont know what exactly lifts of the 7A cams.So If anyone know the lifts of 7A cams and Schrick cams infos which i posted.please translates this as easier understandable.How could i gain on the hp or torque in low or high end RPM.
Anyone care to share?

Those cams were in a friends car , they were very good performance wise, I cannot tell how they were in MPG since he only uses his car for racing, they were fitted with a garrett gt 40 truck turbo , the car went 11.07 with stock bottom end

Prosty,that's sound sweet then.I"m gonna put the camshafts on my car.Will report you guys how the result is.I guess it might be great for the high RPM as generic racing Cams always do.
