    Help with a kangarooing ABY...

Would anyone know where I should start lthe "fault finding process" to sort a problem that occured last night.

The car was fine until I floored the accelerator on a bit of a hill. Soon after the turbo spun up, the car had a couple of fairly violent kangaroo type jolts. I backed off the throttle and it was it if nothing had happened.

I then tried again on a flat bit of road, and once again after the turbo begins, the car did it again !!!

I have never had this in the S2, so don't really know what it might be. Any suggestions ???

As above, its boost cut, and suggests either a leak or something related.
First thing I would try is disconnect and reconnect the MAF plug afew times, it can clean the contacts

          Thanks for the advice guys.

I used the car to get to work today, and it behaved the same again. I will have a go at the MAF connector first to see if its the offending item.

            Dest, you are a star...

I pulled of the MAF plug and reconnected it a few times, and voila - the car behaves itself.

Had to give it a few "test runs" to make sure, which upset the Mrs a bit. Caused her a bit of difficulty with texting !

Thanks again for the advice. S2's are awesome when they are running right.
