any tips on how to remove a kit without blowing myself up?

Make sure the gas tanks are isolated after that straight forward look for the main feed there should be a covering plate were the feeds come out of the tanks once thats off you will see what to do but in all honesty you will be safe

how do you mean isolated? its still got gas in, do i run it empty first?

Just close the valves off then disconnect the 2 copper pipes. It will let a little gas out of the pipes but that's all. Then everything else just unbolts. Give me a call tomorrow if you want any further help.
