Does anyone know what the life expectancy (mileage wise) is for an RS2 fuel pump?

FWIW - my S2 fuel pump failed at 131,000 miles. It became noisier. Economy dropped slightly after the new one was fitted ( but power/revs better ) suggesting it was not supplyimg all the enine demanded.....If in any doubt get a new one. At least I was stranded close to home.
NB Fuse reads open circuit when the pump fails.....Comment
