Cast or forged Pistons

Are stock pistons Forged or cast? What about 7A?

Some say they are part forged part cast. Anyone know for sure?

cast id say.

nice deep ringlands help to keep them alive for FI.

same piston in 7a as 9a and 6a there or there abouts

Turbo pistons are forged, and top notch for such.

Naturally aspirated ones on the other hand, are cast.

Some (not all) of the later AAN ones are cast whereas all the 3B and ABY ones are forged

area around the top ring position. i think the 2 flat surfaces above and below where the top ring is. very important and pressured area
