Blow Off Valve (BOV) vs. Dump Valve (DV)

I have a 3b with chip and will swap the FMIC with a bigger one.

Have some questions:

What is the difference between the stock DV and a aftermarket BOV or DV?

What will be the diference?
Who is better? DV or BOV?

running on Forge 007.the green(based spring) couldn't hold the boost over 1,5bar.

I'm boosting at 1,75Bar.the piston will lift up during under high boost.I went for

blue spring(23-30psis)it cured my mysterious loss of boost issue.

I also knew that green is the stock spring,then yellow,then blue and finaly red.

green 5-15 psi
yellow 15-23 psi
blue 23-30 psi
red 30+ psi

bov or dv?
a dv can also sound great if mounted vith a non stock air filter.
bov sounds great anytime.
How about the intake air measured twice in case of bov?

With the BOV the intake air will not be metered correctly, but it should be able to be remapped to suit. Also the DV should give better performance, providing it can recirculate enough if you are running higher boost.
