    Injector seals

Just wondering are the injector seals handy enough to get the S2 (AYB)? I noticed a slight whiff of petrol today with the windows down, first I thought a pipe underneath was leaking but it tuens out number 1 injector is a bit damp at the top. I take it these are bosch injectors and fairly standard seals?

    cheers

Part number is 035906149a, should be pretty easy to get hold of, either through your audi dealer or a bosch agent.

Dealers can supply them at about £2+vat each. I have a new set of 10 if you want it.

Leak got worse so I had to do a temp fix tonight, I had some injectors out of a cavalier sri 130 engine (also bosch) so I used a couple of the seals off them for now. They are the same size but not a thick if you know what I mean (Girth). Seem to be sealing OK anyway.

Thanks to S2_bo I should have a new set in next week anyway.

i did a group buy on these a couple of years back - even got viton ones (better than rubber) - I think they worked out at 10 p each. (they're a standard O ring size).
