    WGFV switch question

I've got the WGFV disconnected at the moment, like the idea of having a 'valet' mode and would like to be able to switch it from inside the car.

I want to use one of the spare switch holders on the dash to do this 'stealthily' (probably using a foglight switch). Can anyone recommend the best way to wire this in? I'm going to ask the person that's fitting my new alarm to do the work, but need to tell him where best to cut the wires..

    Cheers,
    Tom

Trouble is when you open loop the WGFV that it throws up a fault code. I have a more elegant solution that links to the ECU by way of an external switch to do this. Its an extension of the 'hot swap' homefry upgrade that uses another switch to select between two banks of ECU software - usually factory plus 'sport' mode. Send a PM if interested.

I'll admit I'm trying to do this on the cheap! Is there somehing you could do with the wiring on the WGFG fuse?
