So to give you some background, I recently finished my engine swap, CQ with a standard 7A engine, now has an ABY/AAN hybrid engine installed. I used the ABY Engine harness.
Now my current problem is an over heating problem. The engine fan is not coming on. I tried jumpering the temperature sensor at the bottom of the radiator and sure enough it kicked right on... So I assumed that the problem was the sensor, I had a spare known working on that I swapped on. Now similar problem, the fan will kick on to the low speed but it won't kick on to the higher speeds, it also doesn't seem to run after the car is shut down like it used to. My temperature gauge in the instrument cluster is working fine and that is what I'm basing the temperature settings off of. The car is getting too hot and I need to find the source of this problem.
So my main question is what triggers this fan to come on? is it simply this switch that I have replaced, or does this switch somehow integrate into the main wiring harness and i have failed to hook something together?
