    s2 ecu fault please help

    Hi all ,
I have a 93 k green avant {and love it} quite a few mods brakes wheels engine a full list will follow i have owned my flying machine for 14mths now without missing a beat .
I know this is a big ask but i need help.

I have recently fitted a new turbo , wastegate , exhaust man , injectors and chips i have also fitted a haltek 3 bar sensor . I have had some problems where the engine is not running properly and under boost it feels like it is holding back/misfiring this happens mainly when you are changing gear under hard exceleration and go into the next gear and release the clutch when the boost comes in it splutters . we changed the the coils no change, maf no change n75 no change new plugs no change then we put my mates ecu in from a rs2 worked a treat @390bhp.
we then put my chips in his ecu and the car was a whole different animal @420bhp . so we then knew we had a ecu problem .
so we put his map sensor{standard 3 bar bosh} in my ecu and we still had the problem . so we thought it was the ecu at fault we used a fresh standard ecu and socketed it and put my haltek 3bar sensor in it and also my chips , we still had the same problem. Any suggestions . as i am loosing the plot , anyone been here before ?
    Cheers Ben

It sounds like the chips you have are made for an RS2 ECU, If I remember correctly there is other things different in the RS2 ECU other than just the MAP sensor. If so this is your problem.

there is some kind of resistor soldered in the RS2 ecu aswell. Dont really know what it does though.

@superior - guessing you must be Ben... I sent you an email back. I'll need hands-on that ECU to check it over - if its running RS2 based chipset then there is a couple of things on the ECU that it needs to stay happy.
