10v gasket, can be used on a 7a

I have a few spare 10v head gaskets, are they compatible with using on a 7a or would be best sensible to get a gasket set meant for a 7a which would include bolts as i assume the head bolts are stretch bolts?

    .

The KV and 7A have the some base part no. 034 103 383 *, but the KV is AA and the 7A is J...

Not sure on the exact difference...expert peeps...

I re-used my head bolts as the engine doesn't suffer the same heat treatment as an s2 and yes they are stretch bolts.

For the £20 for a new gasket, is it worth breaking something Part numbers are often close but those letters are teh difference between no and go.

looking at the 7a gasket seems to have 82.5 stamped on it and the fire rings look wee shade bigger than the kv spec gaskets.
Where can get the head gasket for £20 out interest? for whole head set is £65

I'm about rebuild the head so if I end up with head set I'll replace the stem seals
Gasket seems to mate up with everything on the head ok...

Isnt the KV engine a 2.2? So it will have a smaller bore? 81.whatever? Might have piston interference with the gasket at tdc.

Tried a gasket aganist the block this evening seems there is a gally that lays partly outside the gasket. Looks like have try the motor factors see how much they can get me a gasket in for.

Also yes would seem the pistons would interface with the gasket
