    NM Camshats,7A....

    Hello¡¡¡

The NM camshafts are much better for the RS2 turbo aplications over the ABY/3B/AAN ones true???? because they are more similar to the Adu ones true too???

but with a correct maping the 3B intake cam + 7A exhaust cam would be the best??

but whem the people says that NM cams are very good, they are meaning that we have to install both NM cams true??? or only the exhaust one??i

I have the chance of buy the NM camshafts easily...., but i am not sure if they will work better in my 3B with all rs2 parts (excluding adu camshafts)

now i have both 3B cams inside...and a spare 7A cams too...somethimes i think in install the 7A exhaust one but....

pd: i will have to buy an adjustable cam??

What do you mean with Better and Best?

A lot depends on how you want the engine to behave. Highest top-end power, early low-end torque, strong mid-range......etc.?
Different cams deliver different results, also if you change timing of those cams.

Looking at the sticky on various cam it seem 7a and nm are pretty much same just nm is 6 degree advanced for both exhast and inlet and less lift on exhaust. Adu cams seem to quite different from both 7a and nm

and then the best cams choice for use the k24 7200 must be the origianals ADU cams

so nm is rare but basically the same cam as a 7a.

think most of this has been covered many times over in the past. id expect any of the above is good as long as its timed properly.

The timing is different, thats like saying the 3b cam is the same as 7a which I dont understand when people say it

They are better than stock, look at the posts Krists who has installed them with a 3071r and had very good results.

There is also the Kruemmer post which shows:

After many simulation and engine tuning I have find & test optimal value cams:

like i say if its timed properly. i dont know the cam spec but if like people say its the same lift and duration then its the same cam timed different.

you know my thoughts on this. i got the 7a ex cam in and its probly not as good as stock. maybe with timing wheels it may be.
