    this could be down to

    1. wastegate.
    2. boost control solenoid
    3. vac leak causing the map sensor to not be abloe to regulate boost properly.
I had thought that with the boost leak causing the MAP sensor not to read right so "T"ed my boost gauge in a few cm from the ECU, so basically what my gauge reads is what my map reads.
If in say 3rd i hold the throttle wide open it goes to .9 bar no problem then creeps up and the car missfires, then the boost will drop back down to .9 bar again then start to pull hard then the boost creeps up again.

New WGFV fitted and clicking away during vagcom output test.
I had a look at the WG diaphragm too and that looks ok.

    Too much boost

Guys, starting to get somewhere with my boost problems today.
At first i must admit i didn't think i was getting too much boost but now after fitting a gauge i know i am lol.
Basically what would cause too much boost? Boost leek?
I've fitted new roose hoses and the rest of the vac pipes look ok but looks can be deceiving as you guys will know.
What do you think my best bet is, replace all vac pipes and go from there that way i'll know i have a leek free system.
Working...
