AAT, you can use most of them but if your using audi trigger go AAT as the sensors are a direct fit. If your going 60-2 or something like that it doesn't matter.

What in the engine broke, more specific?

One thing i've learned we are way behind the Scandinavians!

Rubbish, AAt blocks out there in Scandinavia running 1200-1400 bhp

Only difference is the machining for some of the sensors as they were changed.

Crank sensors are different, in the AEL they go into the block on the AAT they are mounted the same as the S2 block

Correct it took Jonus racing over 1000hp to break a end cap

I have linked the pictures in another thread on this forum some where?

I think Marco pointed out that the AAT block doesnt have any oil squirters for the pistons.

That applies to the american eurovan blocks and a different block code. The european diesels have oil squirters there maybe one that does not have one but it's not the AAT

Watch out with engine code AQN & AGZ, someone tried to sell me a VW IL5, but it seemed to be the VR5...

Perhaps some low powered engine do not have the squirters.
If not, oil squirters can be drilled in later. Oil gallery is present in all IL5 original castings i've encountered although some are rifle drilled to a bigger dimension. (such as Bora 2.5 litre)
