Take a look on the water temperature... What is indicating?
It occurs every time? or when the car is turned on at the first time the car goes normaly upper than 4000RPM!

      Reguards,
I had a similar problem, ONE of my HT leads going in to the sparkplugs was burnt out which caused my car to lose power and shake but once u build up speed it stopped.

        Reguards,
        Hi,
The coolant temp gauge was normal. The car drove fine up to around 3000RPM but then started to lurch violently.
It did this repeatidly, in any gear, but would rev normally when pulled to the side of the road (stationary).
The car has not been used for a couple of months and because it is in spain, in a mountainous area, it's covered in dust and has been subjected to very high ambient temps.
        Cheers, Chris

          Hi Chris,

Take a look at the fuse of "Fan Full Speend", it´s the second velocity off the wather fan refrigerator.
S2 has a security system that, when this second speed don´t actuate, to safe the motor, the injection system cut out, at 3000RPM - 4000RPM.

I hope that can be your problem, because when the motor is cold the car is OK, and when you drive fast, you need more efficiency on your cooler system and needs this second speed!
          Try it, than tell me!

Hello everyone new here, i'm in the same situation, it happened to me on a test drive yesterday ive been every where looking to see if some one has had the problem before. What is the worst case senario witht that kind of juddering? is it still worth purchasing the car? It's is MTM tuned and really clean just really put me off when it happened on the test drive? I still really want it but dont want to fork out a load of cash just after ive bought it!

Thats normal on tuned cars. Beat them down in price and take a gamble.
