I'm considering using a 7A cam cover that I have in the shed on my AAN engine but the 7A cover doesn't have an oil breather pipe on the rear like the ABY and AAN which I'm assuming it will need. Is it ok to just drill a hole and either weld or fit some kind of pipe attachment to the cover or will it require some kind of baffle on the inside or anything else that I've not considered?
