'The housing is designed with T3 inlet flanges and a 4-bolt outlet.' according to the Garrett book so it should be fine.
Paul,
I could be wrong but the standard T3 hot side to EM flange is rectangular, I think that the round flange with the raised lip is just a KKK thing, thats why I had to use Turbonetics's adapted copy of the #8 KKK hot side so that it would fit my manifold.
I payed £700 inc shipping for mine about 6 months or more ago. The price has went up a little from then.
£700 for the GT30R?
Im assuming from the raving these are good for plenty of power? cos at that price, its cheaper than the KKK 26/27, so must be a lot more stress in making it fit im assuming?
Im in need of a new turbo in the not too distant future (money permitting) and am open to recommendations
Also what EM are we talking here? I have an RS2 EM, but im assuming it will need bigger? SQ / Custom etc?
Im gonna stick with the KKK's. I would love to change over to the dark side, but im affraid to do it. Im not sure how much abuse those ceramic bearings will take. I know the KKK is a good solid unit.

I'm with you on this one Tom, i'm saving+selling my limbs to afford the same turbo as Dougs
Even tho i can get a new RS2 turbo unit from a friend cheap, i feel i will be used to the power after a month of so!!

I am still learning about these turbos, as I need something from Garrett to go with an RS Tuning tube header. The GT30R seems interesting to me. My understanding is that the ball bearings are not ceramic but metal.
I wonder if this turbo is the right size for a 2.22l 20vt, since they are putting them on 1.8t's and getting 350hp out of them. I know that Hap, an ur-S4 guy here in the states, is going with a GT35R. I believe he's already dynoed at 412hp or so at the wheels with his old setup.
