1.8 T tuning

I know wrong forum, but anyone have experience of tuning A4 1.8t?
been offered one as swap for the 20 v quattro coupe, looks nice, leather, lowered etc, chipped + 20 bhp says-not sure what chip
better car to get me kids in, although not in the snow!

no torque unless you spend a lot on modding. Good cars though. Just a little bland. We've put an s3 lump in my wifes passat 18t sport and is quite fun. Good on fuel too.

20hp sounds low to me, most companys over here say 40-45 hp. Have never seen a dyno graph though. I chipped my old A3 1,8T that was a 150hp version and it wa a GREAT improvement. more fun than a standard S3 anyway (i have had 2 S3,s also)

My mate ran his Ibiza at the last r/r day, stock engine with a Revo map, made just under 200hp but nearly 250lb ft !

Goes more than well enough for his first car !

I've done anything from 190 hp to 600hp out of 1.8T, what do You need to know?

am thinking of using it till mot up/am fed up then breakin it for kit car my mate has designed/built demo of
his is almost finshed, had an a4 T off me for it last year
2 seat mid engined, about same size as a radical
he wont let me take photos till its doen though!
hoping get it finished in time for curborough in april with club audi
