Oil cooler for my v8? Opinions?

So I've got a 4.2L ABZ v8 going in an audi 90 quattro. I've two of these bmw oil coolers. Depending on where you look you can get them at a reasonable price. I dropped one off today at the welder to have -10an fitting welded on vs the 22mm threads. If you were in my shoes? Should I run one oil cooler and see how it goes, and if I need the second one just add it later? They are going to be mounted below my audi 80 radiator. I'm thinking just get one on for now and take it to the track/ or just push it hard on the highway for a while and see how the temps do with it. It will be mounted where plenty of air will be getting at it. I'm wondering if it's going to be a little on the small side, but at the same point it's a pretty decent size and if it's getting a good amount of air flow I think it might be fine? Opinions? Adding a second oil cooler is pretty easy but I don't really want to over engineer it. There is no Air conditioning on the car, and it's naturally aspirated with twin electric 11" fans.

It seems like i'm just going to have to get it on the road and see how things go right?

It had a huge aluminum casting that had the filter and a coolant cooled oil cooler in it. It's got this plastic pipe in it that breaks often and causes problems and it's big and bulky. I deleted it and added a remote mount oil filter, thermostat, and I'm swapping over to an air cooled oil cooler.
