Heat shield location

Hello, I removed this heat shield about 6 months ago to give it a tidy up while the engine was out and I cant for the life of me remember where it goes. Any pointers please or images if available. Thanks.

between turbo/ WG and the head i think

At the end of the exhaust manifold by the turbo inlet towards the front edge of the head

Is it specific to the standard S2 manifold/turbo . I have rebuilt with RS2 manifold and larger turbo, is it still likley to fit?

Fits RS2 manifold, does not fit Wagner RS2 EVO manifold

shield fitting issue

Okay, I see where it goes - screws onto the big heat shield.

The gap left between manifold and turbo is only a couple of mm and the shield won't quite fit, see image.

To give a bit more space I was considering the following options.

1) shaving a little bit of material off the rib that sticks out on the manifold (the one the red arow points too).

2) Fitting two gaskets between manifld and turbo.

Has anyone tried these or have other ideas, I'm sure there are plenty of people on here with big turbos who have came across the same issue.
