So I recently swapped in an aby engine and harness into my us market 7a coupe, I'm getting a check engine light and wanted to blink codes, however I just realized durring the swap the three connectors came out and only 2 went back in... where is the 3rd "white" connector come from on the aby coupes?

Ahhahh... Look VERY carefully at may ABY wiring guide again... The later ABY/ADU looms don't actually come with the lil white plug. The loom actually goes to the K & L ringlets in the main fusebox... A separate little cable extends those to the white OBD plug... You could lift one from many old Audis but I think I included the part number in that document. If you cannot find it in there I will go looking for it.Paul Nugent

Paul to the rescue! Thanks, I have my s4 parts car I could take the plug from, so are there any other wires that go to those pins? Since my fuse box doesn't have provisions for the pins they are currently floating in the fuse box... I'm half tempted to just cut and crip on the white plug if there are no other wires that interface with them.Comment

The usual suspects for K/L wires are aircon, ABS, immo and airbag - that is your lot on the S2/RS2.Paul Nugent
