Could be a blocked CAT alright... but check the throttle pot is doing its thing and that VAGCOM declares WOT when it should - the throttle opening determines how much boost you get. Should be seeing 1.5 to 1.6bar max on that setup, tailing off to 1.3 approx at redline.

Just got it finally sorted this week mate the car developed another problem first though it started hesitating then started running on 4 cylinders so we fiited a new coil,spark plug and a POS which not only cured the missing cylinder but also the lack of boost
it's now running great and goes like a rocket

Went out for a spin in this today now it's cured and it's very impressive. It's now got 'Hoffer76' 390 spec chips in, boosted to 2bar in 4th, pulls like a train
