I'm having this strange problem with my RS2. When I let off the gas pedal it takes few seconds for the rews to drop and consumption display go to 0. Also when cruising on very light throttle it sometimes accelerates and decelerates randomly, as if it cut's the injection. I'm quite confident I have no boost or vacuum leaks and tps cliks like it should. Any ideas?

you can test the TPS using a multimeter,
links on how to test.
i have a very similar problem and tested the tps as stated on the above websites, the test did not shw any wrong values of voltage or resistance. however i have been told that a multmeter does not measure resistance enough times per second to show any flat spots. im going to change the tps prob this week to see if this fixes the prob.
here is the thred i started about the problem

Open the throttle by hand and let it go , how long does the throttle damper take to let the closed /idle switch click ? If the damper is not right and is taking a wile before the click then this is your problem.Comment

I think this sounds like TPS. Had exactly those symptoms on my 3B, sprayed the TPS with electronics cleaner spray and open/closed throttle by hand a few times, repeated the process 3-4 times, and the symptoms are gone.Leif-Helge

how long ago was this? some electronics-savy friend strongly warned me against the normal contact spray, when not protected afterwards with another spray.Comment

3-4 weeks ago. Havent driven it much after that. Will report here if something happens, my TPS has ~200 k miles on it so not surprised if it is on it's way out.Leif-Helge
