Well my new regulator was a Bosch one from the stealer.
Tuesday it stopped charging altogether.
Checked the output on the blue wire at the alternator (+10.5v)
Checked the Cluster by swapping for another unit - (no difference)
Checked the 'Exciter' circuit in the alternator with a +12v supply with test lamp - (no current flow).
Came to the conclusion it could only be duff alternator.
Bosch main agent -- £97+VAT exchange
Job done!
Nearly +14v with engine running, starts charging on startup & battery light comes on with electrics as its supposed to.
Fingers crossed that'll be my electrics issues sorted for a couple of weeks!
