Returning a factory RS2 external wastegate to standard?

As I now have factory RS2 chips I want to put the car back to standard (its currently Superchipped). Part of this is returning the external wastegate to standard.

Top picture is what a standard RS2 external wastegate looks like:

Bottom picture is how my external wastegate looks:

You will see that Superchips have put a large bolt in the top of my wastegate (last owner had it done, not me).
If I take the bolt out will the will the unit be sealed? Does it have to be sealed? Where can I get a cover to cover the bolt whole?
Will the spring inside it be a factory 20PSI spring?
What happens if I undo all the nuts holding the wastegate together around the outside? Will I have to replace the wastegate diagram?

Both pictures shows the same WG. The difference is that there has been removed plug that comes originaly and a larger screw installed for more pressuring the spring. I think that there is no need to do anything with your current WG. Just take the chip out and get an stock one in the place.

However I wouldnt downgrade my cars ECU if it has been chiped.

The 'Superchips' set up for S2/RS2 is Bodgery and not very 'super' so I can understand this guy wanting rid of it as the ECU losses some of it's safety features.

As pointed out the waste-gates are the same, it looks like 'Superchips' installed the adjuster bolt as part of their set up. Ideally if you want the car put back to how it should be then you either need to fit a new waste-gate cap or adjust the spring back to standard pressure. I'd have thought it's the original spring hence the adjuster, if you take the waste-gate cap off you don't normally need to replace the diaphragm, however if it looks tired then replace it as a matter of course.

If you get a standard top cap and spring it should reset it all for you. The standard pre-load is about 45mm measured between the body and cap with it all undone and no pre-load. With the N75 unplugged it should do 0.4 bar at crack so 2-3k RPM.

Might be best to remove wastegate cap and see what the internals look like. Keep a bit of pressure on top of cap whilst you remove the nuts to stop wastegatecap going into orbit!
Post some pics up of what you find.
Depends on what has been used. If the original spring and upper perch has ben used then all that will be necessary will be to machine a grub screw to the original dimensions to replace Frankenscrew and reassemble to factory dimensions. For stock look you would need to find a suitable seal for the top. If they have replaced the spring then you would need to source a replacement. Anyway, let see what you have first!
