Help with loose pipe

Hi guys

I recently had my Maf to turbo pipe replaced. When I had a look yesterday to see if the work was done properly I noticed that the narrow pipe that runs next to the main one on the top left (from the front) of the engine was lying loose. Where should this pipe be connected to if at all???

Just been out to have a look at mine( better than working) and I cant work out what pipe you mean?

Could you show on a pic?

That is the hose that goes to the dump valve. It should be connected to the dump valve at one end and throttle body at the other. ( I htink I got that right)

You got a boost leak if it aint connected.

Mine had a big split in it recently - replaced it with a piece of 4mm silicone hose.

Loose pipe

Hi

Just had a look at my car(you're right its better than work ). The pipe seems to go into the back of the engine. Problem is where should it go to?? Does somebody have some more info or a picture please.

Dont have pic cos at work. Dont know the names of everything either.

at the back of the throttle body there are 3 braided hoses. if youre dump valve pipe is not connected then there will be a little metal pipe with nothing connected. However it may be that your dump valve pipe is snapped(as mine was)
