Carbon canister collects fuel gases from the tank and is controlled by the ecu. When the engine warms up the gases will be released in the intake manifold.
Pressure regulator is needed in EFI systems to keep fuel pressure in fuel rail constant compared to intake manifold pressure. ECU signals the injectors to open and assumes that fuel pressure is ok. Otherwise the mixture will be wrong.
i am 100% sure, that my car has diferent locations of some hoses.
f.e: my s2 has hose betwene intake mainfold and bypass ventil on front side of intake mainfold, but in etka thise hose comes from back of intake mainfold. I look some other pics of aby engine and it all have same hose location as my. so other hoses are too in other (but similar) locations as it is shown in schema (etka)

The ETKA diagrams for the RS2 are no better when it comes to the vacuum and breather systems. I'm also chasing a leak in that area.
Luckily I have the luxury of ordering all the parts available in that region so I can match them up visually.
The pipe shown on ETKA for the bypass valve is wrong but the parts list describes it correctly. It's one of the quirks with ETKA as it uses the old microfiche general diagrams instead of engine specific ones.
Valjo,
if you can get me some pictures of the area your investigating or describe each hose your looking at, i.e where they appear to go, then I'll try and sort out part numbers etc and possibly a diagram as to how the hoses actually fit together.
