    Oil Amount?

I cant seem to find this anwser in my search although i know it must be posted somewhere.

How much oil is need in a change on the S2?

It would be so simple if it was 4 Litres, but if it's anything to go by with the S2 bet it's something like 4.4 and Castrol RS comes in 4 Litre

On a side note i've ordered an Fumoto valve T207N

Any tips on putting it in?

I'm guessing it will take a week to get here from the states.

As I recall, your worries are justified. I think I put in something like 4.5 liters per change. I know I always have to buy 2 cannisters of oil to fill it up and always have a lot left over. Such are the joys of S2 ownership.

You don't really need any tips to put in the Fumoto. You take out the old plug and put in the new one. Easy as that. You will have to remove the belly pan of course. If you have it on that is. Getting the belly pan off is harder than changing the oil plug.

Jamo, make sure you have at least two spare sump plug washers when you come to install the Fumoto. In my case, the valve would only tighten up with the lever exposed and pointing to the road. I removed the supplied fibre washer and used the OE brass washers as shims so that the valve was tight with the lever up and out of harms way.

O.K, i've got a couple of them with the oil filter, cheers.

I just knew it would be over 4L. I might go for Gregs choice of Millers CFS 10/60 as it comes in 5 litres, although does anybody know any retail outlets for it?

I've done a web search but all want about £15 p&p!

When i go the MPC i'll ask if they sell the 1L bottle of castrol, everywhere i've been locally only sells the 4L bottle which is a real PITA.

The nipple on my fumoto valve snapped off. The valve itself is fine. They seem to be great for oil changes. It just wasn't up to having a pipe attached permanently.

On the Fumoto valve how big is the smallest diameter in the valve (probably the ball within the valve.). I have a Stainless Steel hydraulic valve with a lock on the handle and a Hydraulic pipe insert fitting on the outlet to accept a pipe. Was going to get a spare sump plug and machine the current one to accept the valve.
