Spooling estimates please...

I know that people(among them myself) have had experience to the 3071R turbo and spooling times, but since im about to use a 3076R and have the option between the .82 and .63AR im wondering if there are any other out there that can provide with some info about this.Will be putting in the new turbo next week,and still have the chance of buying/replacing the .82 which i have to the .63

I have spoken to aron numerous times and i already have some input, but hoping to establish some facts, as most engines have something different between them.

SQ EM
reverse IM
70mm tubing from turbo-IC-IM
70mm TB
Stock ADU cyl head
9:0comp ratio
76mm downpipe

the 3071R i had with OEM inlet, RS2 EM and VEMS gave me 2.1bar around 3300rpm on 4th,and 3900ish on 3d dropped boost to 1.7 after 6000rpm probably because of backpressure.

im hoping that the .82 wont go beyond 4000rpm on 4th. If it does, then the .63 needs to go in instead cause i dont want to loose the fast spool competelly!

anyone with any personal experience with more or less similar setup?

PS: Holset goes 1.7 @ about 4400rpm on 4th,but sleeps below that even on higher gears, so i dont like it that much.GT35+ like of power potential, but makes the car a non everyday one, so hence my 3076 choice.

cause that looks nice but it means that the .63AR should be closer to my aims rather than the .82ar

JP has done some wizardry on his cylinder head and is in the early 500s on a 2.2

yes we pmed just a while ago,and his spec is quite different as it appears.

This makes things difficult as there is no true comparison unless tried.

Im hoping the change from one turbine to another is easy for me as i have less obstacles to remove in order to replace it, so i may just be the first to try on a stock RS2 cyl head and cams (but different IM/EMs) to see how it responds.

hell,i have spent so much money already, getting another hotside for 250guid would be that much of a hassle...
