I have installed an 034Motorsport DIS coil and an MSD 6A Ignition box. The only way I can get it to spark/run is by connecting the blue -12V Ground from the factory amplifier to the white trigger wire from the 6A unit. Any other wiring schematics would be helpful.
as you discovered, the msd expects a ground pulse on the white ("points") input wire, so if you're starting with a 12v pulsed signal you have to convert that somehow. the factory coil amplifier does that job nicely, so there is nothing wrong with your approach.
