Don't quote me. In fact, forget immediately that I ever posted this.

Could you adapt the MB system pressure regulator? It would take some plumbing, but the great unknown fact is that the thing is adjustable - a 4.5mm Allen key right down the body of the thing lets you vary the stock 5.85 bar considerably.

    (I didn't post the above.)

ultimot.de sell them but why do you want one?

Your making the pump work harder to maintain a higher pressure so you'd need a Motorsport 044 pump if your boosting to say 2 bar

5 bar + 2 bar boost = 7 bar standard 044 pump is not good in this range neither is the stock fuel pump

what does the standard fuel pump offer up as far as constant pressure is concerned then?
I was encouraged to up the fpr to get the best out of the current upgrade, not to 5 bar but a good 4 bar. the fpr i have is a 4 bar but I considered getting one a bit bigger to accomodate the upgrade. I'm in your hands.....

I am looking forward to this.I've had the car for three years and it has made me smile on many occasions, made me shout on more than a few too, however i have not had a car before that is such a complete package, and i dont think i will ever part with it as long as i can show new cars that there is estate cars than can embarrass them all!

Get a new 4 bar fpr dont up the fuel pressure your just making the fuel pump work harder plus you'd put your ecu map out with more fuel going in per load site
