Oil in spark plug well

Hi Guys

I have oil in the first spark plug well, im assuming that there is a gasket halfway down that has perished as it cant see the oil getting in any other way? could someone confirm this and give me some advice on how complex this replacement would be?

would i need to get a full gasket set or can i get just that specific gasket?

Rocker gasket gone. Specifically the centre part. The gasket comes as a set of 4 parts.
Two half moon seals for the rear, the main gasket and the centre part that seals around plug recesses.

About £30 IIRC when I bought one for a recent change (Audi supplied)

yep pretty easy just dont over tighten the bolts on refit or it will start leaking pretty soon. also check the pcv health as it can weep if thats knackered. Oh and good opportunity to change the cap heads to s/steel too ;-)

CAm cover gasket which come in two part outside and rings for seals round spark plug tunnel ,

How to on mikes web page , straight forward job , just make sure you dont over tightening bolts as it wont seal

Could be one of two things gasket in the cam cover is perished or the coil pack boot is perished.

Gasket is on the bottom of the cam cover, it's 5 big rubber o-rings linked together in one piece. really simple to change just remove the cam cover and replace it

im sure its the cam cover gaskets as i have replaced the coilpack recently, ill get this done this weekend,

i will obviously need new plugs, is there any sets left available from that group buy?
