Car not firing up after short jounreys

I have been having a few problems when i run the car on short journeys she doesn't want to fire up and i have to frustratingly keep trying untill she does fire up, its completely random in how long it takes, or even if she will not start up. At first i thought it was the hall sensor issue i have read about but that as far as im aware only arises when the engine gets hot.

    Any ideas?

Pour some water down the back of the cambelt cover when it does this to confirm it indeed a hall sensor problem. Mine did this a couple of times and after the water trick never again.

Others have been less lucky and had to change it...

      Cheers,

      Steve.
