      No-one can really tell you the right turbo you have to make the decision against cost to bhp expectation.

      As Bram says there are a lot of threads around various turbo selections.

        it goes like this.

        you look at turbos, you ask bout them, you pick one, you ask again, you pick another, then buy it, then fit it, then want less lag, then want more top end, then want less lag..........

        compromise=turbo.

        ask yourself how much power do you want. add 100hp. pcik a turbo to match. i run a precision. its pretty mid-old-school. 360 bearings, t04E casing, older housing design, gt wheels. i saw sals i think 3076 on the rollers and it was a lot more agressive coming on boost than mine. mimne a bit bigger/heavier as a description to feel. mine gives an ever so smooth lag to boost delivery. it feels lovely for that. some prefer less lag others like the feel of it. changing gear gets you in the action shall we say.

        for mee kkk is old school. ive owned my turbo for about 5 years. running it for 3. if i were you id go billet wheels, BB, vband flanges all round. id buy the best technology you can afford. that way you can have a smaller unit= less lag and still enjoy the benifits of a slightly larger old school unit. its like the ford boys and keeping kjet on series 1 rs turbos. old school for old schools sake is madness.

        a turbo car is only as good as its turbo.
