    Sump windage tray

Are there any appreciable advantages in fitting an aan/aby/adu windage tray to a modified rr/3b engine? There is quite a lot of info on the net regarding windage trays, but nothing really specific to the Audi I5 turbo.
    Any btdt?

Don't they all use one anyway? I know my 3B engine did.

Looking at ETKA,the S2 3B did have the full length windage tray, but the 200 3B and RR did not.Instead they had a half length steel baffle fitted lower down in the sump.
I have an AAN tray, and wondered if it was worth fitting to my RR.

If the later engines (ABY & ADU) do indeed have a different 'windage tray' then I think its fair to suggest that it would be a worthwhile upgrade - Audi would only have seen fit to do that if they had good reason.
