    Oil cooler fittings

    Can anybody tell me what thread size the 2off male fittings are on top of a 3B oil cooler?



    The big ones, not the ones circled. The threads on mine are knackered so I'm looking for a weld on replacement as the brkt is NLA from Audi

      Just for reference the fittings are 12L and they are available from any hydraulic specialist. They are about £4.50 for mild steel or £11.50 in 316 stainless. As the mounting brkt is NLA from Audi I ended up making a new one so I splashed out and had all stainless





      Got a brand new core and seals from VWheritage.

          Now thats nice work andy, did it work out cheaper than the last known price for one of them new from audi?

                  Nice bit of welding there, if there was such a thing as an "OEM +" stamp of approval surely you'd get a stamp for that handywork.
