Maximum boost pressure exceeded was cured on mine by tightening up the hose clamp on the turbo inlet, i only found the leak with a test kit and 1bar of pressure. Visual inspection just wont cut it.

Currently chasing the same code on a friends Audi TT, cannot find any leaks so i suspect a faulty N75 in that instance.

As above i too have split a brand new valve while fitting, expensive mistake

Havn't found any leaks upon my own inspection, got it booked in at a local vag specialist garage to test with the vacuum pump. The guy there mentioned the excessive boost fault reading could also be caused by a faulty turbo which I suppose could be possible if it sucked in any **** when the induction kit fell off.
If this is the case what would be a reasonable next step (would like to achieve around 300bhp) K26/27? I assume I would need to get a new manifold. Would this manifold be 3"? Would I have to do the system then also? If it's gonna get too expensive then I might have to consider just getting a stock replacement. This will still be like promotion as the car has had this fault for over a year now!

If the car and stock K26 turbo is in good health, you sould see 280/290 hp on the stock turbo! going K26/k27 is my next aim and can show upto 390's

If you still have an air leak then the fault and 4000rpm cutout will return.
where is this motor fuse you speak of?
