I only have one of them, which is on the engine harness, and the other is from the dash harness but my coupe quattro did not come with it. I do have a 90 v6 harness that has that wire but I am leaning towards not using it.
I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got quattro?
the 1st picture, I've had the plug off my after run cooling switch in the last couple of weeks, it sure isn't that one!!
I tell you where I have seen BOTH of those right next to each other... on the drivers door for the electric window switches!! both of those plugs ARE on the window switches. Not sure if the wiring color codes are correct for window switches, but may be worth a look to verify??
If you can get a part number off the plugs, then you can track down where those plugs are used on the car!!
The green and red wire is for the window washer pump
the blue and yellow is for the coolant low level switch
The plug in my coupe quattro that mates to those wires is a T3
The wires match except for there is a brown and green wire that runs to the radiator, Which is says it's for:

The orange T5 connector is for AC
Basically I been reading schematics for quite a long time now.
I have made Three adapter harnesses to make everything work.
All simple stuff, just has taken some time.
But yes.. that last red wire is what I need to figure out.
It's a power feed thought, I know that. Ironically I wired one of the custom harnesses wrong and I had the winshield wipers going on all the time.

!!!!!!!!!!!Or is it a ground... hmm... I am preity postive the old T3 connector to the engine harness had this wire running to the two grounds on the intake manifold.
Life would be nice and simple.. I need to go check into some stuff...
But Aby schematics.. posted on the web.. would be sweet..
Sometimes.. the simplest answer is the one we overlook the most.
The RED and BROWN wire goes to the control unit for coolant pump/turbocharger.
The Brown and green wire goes to the Radiator cooling fan after run Thermoswitch.
So the question is is this a match?
I'll figure it out...
