RS2 IC Part Number?

hi does any one know or can found out what the audi part number is for a rs2 intercooler?? and can any one with a rs2 intercooler just state what power they are reaching with is intercooler?? just out of intrest to see what power you can achive with it cheers tom.

your power level is defined by your turbo and combination of components so you can't really ask what power level it will do by itself.

I've seen cars on here push up to 450 with it maybe beyond but again the overall setup defines bhp

Thanks for part number smIley. Rite I brought a rs2 intercooler a long time ago but now I don't think it is a rs2 one. my s2 has under gone a full engine rebuild now and the intercooler I have has this part number. 8A0 145 805 A. I have spoke to my locail audi dealer and theyhave told me that the part number off the intercooler that I have is now disconuted they told me that a STD s2 cooler ends with a B and rs2 ends with a C like smiley said so can anyone tell what intercooler I have as it's starting to hurt my head now lol.

Sounds like it's an early ABY item, the 3B item starts 034.

Pictures help with things like this.

The RS2 IC, when fitted, should reuire modification to the ABY cross member (XM) and oil cooler duct also as the RS2 item is approx 50mm longer than the ABY item and has a sharper inlet hose angle too.

Measure the core size of the IC, RS2 IC Core = 500 x 185 x 63mm

On Ethanol (E85): Approx 420hp at the wheels with 2.15 bar peak boost. Here is the IAT graph from a 3rd gear pull with 2.1 bar peak. 6 degrees ambient temp, with 8C at the air filter.
IAT stays below 13c until 5000rpm, then increases to 17degs at 7200rpm. Not bad, really. Still, if the choice is between a new RS2 or a Wagner, you should pick the Wagner.

Thanks for input off everyone. Part number enddin A is a early ABY. Is has ****ed me off just a little but gettin over it slowly. So I brouht I nice sized intercooler 630x330x65 with in an out on both sides. I know there's ups an downs to this style of intercooler but goin 2 give it ago! So armed with metal plenty of, welder, grinder! And plenty of will power that it's goin fit! And tidyly. If goes well will take sum pics lol. Bring on Saturday.
