Just won a V6 one off ebay for a fiver, so I think that's worth a punt

Well, the one I won arrived today but it hasnt helped, still off a cyl. It isnt the one shown in the pic on the listing. It is a BERU one (the sdame as whats on mine). Again swapping the leads jumps a cyl. The other POS on the car is a genuine one. Does this sound like Audibits2 has sent me a duffer or point to something to do with the car not liking the BERU unit?
