    K24 ABY Boosts high

I just finished a very nice S2 Coupe VEMS project with great results.

The car is pretty standard except it extremely loud 76mm exhaust system.
The engine sounds really good, every small part is in its place, thats unique where i live.

Customer wanted VEMS ECU as the first step to his distant 400-500HP goal in mind. And stock behaviour in all conditions.E85 was used as fuel, and since the stock injectors are so small i put a set of 630/720 Siemens dekas in.

Using 1.1.70 firmware and a selfmade Plug and Play VEMS ECU,we tuned two maps street and race. They have different idle, fuel, lambda, ignition and motorsport settings.

Car was flawless in its stock form and did the 1/4 mile in 14.1@153kmh
Just swapping the ECU,the injectors, and fuel, the car now passes the quarter mile in 12.8@170.

Fuel consumption is down to 12-14 liters/100km on E85.Previously it was using the same amount of petrol.

That's good going on a stock turbo! Mine was early 13s when I had a play a year or two back, would be interesting to see what it'll do now.

What's required to go E85 other than new injectors and a remap? New fuel pump, 044? How does the fuel system cope with things like seals?

LOL that's not what I meant

How much more ignition timing were you able to put on the car running E85?

Boost is 1.5bar as soon as possible, and it falls back to 1 bar at redline.

The seals will be just fine. Change the filter after a couple of tanks.
