Just wondering what you guys think of this turbo?
I will be buying a new turbo shortly for a 400bhp road car, and was wondering if this would be a good buy for a AAN engine.
I was thinking of buying a gt3071 or gt30r.
would this be ok for my plans instead as its a bit cheaper?
Any advice is appreciated

My car was running on a 3071 but I didn't like the lack of torque and linear feel of it so trying one off these till my next unit arrives.

I think i might buy it in a couple of weeks if its still there.
I will be mateing it up to a wagner tubular manifold.
so that should sort out this part of the puzzle of picking the right bits for a 20vt build

what are the dimensions of this turbo? What do you mean excactly of linear on the 3071R??

It can be on/off if mapped that way!

reason im asking is to see where it fits in regarding all other turbo options. Regardless of what the ebay ad says. It may well be true, but in that case it would make it equal to a GT3071R 0.82AR. then you have something to compare it with.

K27 had a #7 hotside as smallest option i think, and that may translate to lag.(esp since it is bigger than the RS2 turbo) + journal bearing
