    4pot 1.8T homefry?

Just wondering, can the ECU on the 1.8T 20valve 4pot be 'Homefryed' just like the 5pot 20vt can?

And if yes, how much power can be gained from the standard 180bhp A4 sport for example?

just wanted to know cause my bro might be buying an A4

Maestro...... i dunno about homefry whatever that is. but there is a 700WHP 1.8T over here on this side with stock ECU and Maestro....

I know there is already a Maestro thread as posted by AL@pagparts.com (Arnold) but that is 15pgs. worth of announcements, information, and armchair racing (not in that order), so I would like to have a dedicated user thread for specific information on self-flashing, tuning, logging, and other...

oh, what i meant was, there's someone on here that can remap the ECU on the 5pot 20vt so it makes 297bhp with out needing upgraded internals.
I was just wondering if the same can be done to the 1.8t and how much safe power can be made with out internal upgrades.

      nice link btw.

I'm trying to find the same for a 130bhp TDI, there dosent seem to be any shortage of tuners who cater for the PD and 1.8T engines, hard part is knowing who to trust.

Thing to do is find a forum thats dedicated to the car and see what the general consensus is. Bit like S2 Forum says Homefry, because its a no brainer. But without the forum you would never have known about them.

Revo custom codes can be used, if it's a 180 car be a K03 turbo be around 210 bhp after chipping

Depends on the turbo if it's K03 or K03s actually he said 180bhp so it should K03s which can be pushed to high limits like Rusty says

Worth checking up on the K03S as there's plenty who don't believe it exists perhaps it's like the RS2 competition turbo...

It exists it's the fact there is no part number for it and it's a name given to a turbo by tuning houses
