still got fan problem

thanx for all the ideas guys. I have still got no low speed (a/c speed)
I have checked the resistor & it seems ok- when i give each of the 3 terminals 12v i get 3 different fan speeds operating.
there must be a break in the circuit between the a/c switch & the resistor?
is there a relay to control slow speed? I have a map on my fuse cover that mentions relay for speed one but that seems to control the middle speed! I also have 2 relays missing "rad fan relay" &" rad fan delay" are these normally fitted? mine have always not been there!

I think there are 4 or 5 relays that control the rad fan. There is one for each of the fan stages, one for the a/c and one for the rad fan delay.

My fan wasn't cutting in when the afterrun pump was on. Cured it by fitting the relay which was missing.

Yeh, I suspect thats what is wrong with mine but i have no idea what type of relay goes where!
in the mean time i have wired up the slow speed fan to come on whenever i switch on the a/c
