    S2 Forum triumphs

When I joined this this forum 2 months ago, I had an 18 month battle with the performance of my S2 Avant. It had an AMD chip but had very erratic performance (didn't feel anything like 280bhp) with a huge flat spot mid range.

Due to the knowledge and help provided by this forum, I think it's finally fixed.

I initially had a Homefry ECU to try because of the suspect Chip and whilst this improved things it now provoke the car to cut-out @ 4000rpm. Boost leak was the cry, so I duly purchased a set of very tasteful YELLOW Samcos from someone who longer required.

Whilst replacing original pipes, they didn't appear to be holed or damaged in any way but, the O Ring from the IC was totally goosed and replaced. Taking further advice, I replaced the Fuel Filter and the Lambda Sensor.

WOW!!! what a transformation The car runs smoother than ever and rockets round the revs

I am very indebted to everyone on the forum (home and abroad) for all their helpful and advice.

A very special thanks to Paul Nugent who been extremely helpful and for lending me his Homefry ECU.

    Thanks again to you all
